Chapter Lunch at the Placitas Café

Join the BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter for lunch at the Placitas Cafe in Placitas, NM on Saturday, December 17, 2022. We will meet at Sandia BMW Wheels and Coffee, 6001 Pan American Fwy in Albuquerque. Gather inside the dealership at 10:15 am and we will depart at 10:30 am for the drive to Placitas via NM 313 on the El Camino Real National Scenic Byway to Bernalillo. After lunch, Chapter Vice President Jim Levandoski will show at his nearby Placitas home how a BMW VANOS works to advance/retard camshafts. Jim rebuilds them for E39s. He will also provide an update of his ’33 Ford Hot Rod build in progress and if time permits, provide a quick “how-to” demo of the INPA BMW diagnostic tool connected to his 540.
