On Saturday, July 18, 2020, the New Mexico Chapter of the BMW CCA hosted a COVID safe, dog friendly Cardinal Point driving tour through some of Albuquerque’s East Mountain communities, joining the Turquoise Trail Scenic Byway just south of Golden, then crossing back East along the Camino Los Abuelos to Galisteo. We ended with a socially distanced picnic in a beautiful shaded park at the Amtrak station in Lamy, NM. We had wonderful participation for the event, including twenty people, twelve cars, three dogs and an Alfa Romeo 4C!
