Karl Fox

Photo of Karl FoxKarl Heinrich Fuchs Fox was the son of Dieter Fox and Jacqueline Fuchs Fox, the founders of the New Mexico Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America. Karl helped out at Dieter’s German Car Specialists from the age of 14. He attended Sandia and Eldorado high schools and after graduating, he worked full time for his father and became the service and parts manager. He took business courses at Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute, hoping to eventually take over for his dad. Tragically, Karl was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2003 at the age of 24.

Many of us in the local BMW community had regular contact with Karl and remember his smile, friendly demeanor and his vast technical knowledge of BMW’s. He is sorely missed.

Karl played soccer beginning in the first grade, coached a youth girls soccer team and played on an adult team. The 6-foot, 173-pound player once helped his team win a championship. He enjoyed traveling and had many friends. For more information, see Family, Friends Were Vital to Soccer Enthusiast Karl Fox in the Albuquerque Journal.
