On November 16, 2024, the BMW Car Club of America New Mexico Chapter enjoyed a fantastic day filled with cars, camaraderie, and discovery, starting with a gathering at Sandia BMW’s Wheels and Coffee. The beautiful weather provided the perfect backdrop as members reconnected, admired an impressive collection of BMWs and exotic cars, and shared their automotive enthusiasm.

The group then gathered inside Sandia BMW to organize the convoy to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science in Old Town. After parking, the members took a leisurely walk to the nearby Sawmill District for lunch at Ponderosa Brewing Company. The food was good, the service accommodating, and the conversations full of shared enthusiasm, making for a truly memorable dining experience.

Following lunch, the group headed to the museum, where admission was provided by the New Mexico Chapter. Inside, members explored New Mexico’s fascinating natural history, journeying through time to discover ancient sea coasts, unique geology, and the state’s prehistoric past. Highlights included walking through a simulated “live” volcano and marveling at the enormous Seismosaurus, a 30-ton, 110-foot-long dinosaur that captivated everyone’s imagination.
